Zaikio Langa Langa - l'Afrique danse avec.., african 1973-1974

Orchestre Zaiko Langa Langa was founded by Kinshasa students
in 1969. The name was constructed from 'Zaire ya Bakoko',
( Zaire of our ancestors ), Langa Langa is the name of the
people in the Equator region. The group grew fast and existed
of some 20 persons that kept changing along the way. A few names,
Papa Wemba, Evoloko Jocker, Nyoka Longo and Bozi Boziana were
some of the early members of the group.
